Issued in May 1937, to commemorate the coronation of George VI. Although the image was representative, and has never been specifically identified, newspapers at the time noted that: "On the ten-cent piece is a reproduction of a Nova Scotia fishing schooner, obviously designed from a well-known picture of the champion Bluenose." The coin design is still in use and is known by Canadians as "the Bluenose dime."

Date: 1937
