Lunenburg by the Sea
Fire at Lunenburg Foundry
Lunenburg Foundry started as a stove foundry in 1891. However, the future of the Lunenburg Iron Company, predecessor of the Lunenburg Foundry, was threatened by a disastrous fire in 1906. Fortunately, Lunenburg businessmen bought the company and saved it from extinction.
