Lunenburg by the Sea

215 Pelham Street

Residence built by Thomas Zinck, fisherman, in 1890. In Nova Scotia this style is referred to as the 'Lunenburg House', although in reality it is a mixture of both the Second Empire and late bracketted Gothic. The 'Lunenburg House' with its curious central 'bump' went out of fashion by 1900.

Date: 1890
