Agreement, Edward Whitman, master of the schooner Adventure to Alexander Easson

Whitman accepts 20 barrels of potatoes from Easson, and agrees to sell them on his behalf in the West Indies, paying him on return, less 8 shillings per barrel.

Inglis Johnstone married Clara Hoyt at Trinity Parish, New-York; both were stated to be residents of New Glasgow, NS; witnesses were Benjamin F. Hoyt and Theodore E. Studley, both of New York City. [Clara was the widow of Jesse Hoyt, who died 30 April 1881.]
