436. Paul Maylor to Gideon White, in receipt of letter enclosing papers relative to the whale fishery, in which White has an interes. The whaling vessel is not expected by her owners for about a year. He encloses copy of a letter from A. Campbell relative to John O'Halloran's debt to White. Comments on conduct of O'Halloran, who left for Ireland after one day in London, and asks for directions in this regard.
