The Shining Future

Note: Made in cooperation with the Hollywood War Activities Committee, features some of the most famous actors and performers of the 1940s, including [Deanna DURBIN], Bing CROSBY, Benny GOODMAN, and Cary GRANT, all exhorting Canadians to buy more 'Victory' government bonds. A 'typical' family of 1960, surrounded by futuristic creature comforts (i.e. a helicopter parked outside) watches a Victory bond film of 1944, and the father congratulates himself on his wisdom and patriotism on purchasing so many bonds. A lavish, entertaining production. The sound track is deteriorating.
