McAlpine's Nova Scotia Directory, 1907-08 is already on the Nova Scotia Archives Website. More importantly, however, almost every surviving provincial and city directory from Nova Scotia has now been digitized by Library and Archives Canada, and is available and fully searchable on their Website. Provincial and city directories in hard-copy format or on microfilm are also held at the Nova Scotia Archives, the Nova Scotia Legislative Library, the Halifax Public Library (Spring Garden Road Branch) and at various public and university libraries throughout Nova Scotia.
