Geological Survey Maps

Although the Nova Scotia Archives does not have a complete run of Geological Survey Maps for Nova Scotia, it does have coverage for most of the province, primarily between 1884 and 1910. Each sheet identifies the location of houses (residents are sometimes identified), schools, churches, post offices, stores, hotels, halls, factories, forges, wharves, roads and railway lines.
