I spent my time there very pleasantly. We went down to Cornwallis where we were entertained in a most hospitable manner by Mr. Prescott (a brother of the Doctor's) who has a very elegant seat there. Our winter has been excessively severe so far, the sleighing very fine and has continued so more than two months incessantly and there is no prospect of its leaving us." Family matters. Holograph.
