This appears to be an updated copy of his petition of 1784, now mentioning that he is petitioning for a new grant, having relinquished land purchased at Shepody, 1796, by his father; and claiming that he [David Easson] has "acted as Superintendant of Indians and otherwise been among them on the most trying of occasions for the good of His Majesty's service and the tranquillity of the province…."
