In this section we've digitized in their entirety, 17 printed cookbooks published in Nova Scotia before 1950. All of them come from either the Nova Scotia Archives Library or the Nova Scotia Museum Library. Be sure to take a look at the Church of England Institute Receipt Book (1888) – the first true cookbook compiled and published in the province.
In another area of What's Cooking, we've provided a Published Cookbooks List that includes bibliographic records for all cookbooks and cookery-related items held in the Nova Scotia Archives Library.
