Mr. Robie’s motion regarding the written paper sent down on the 27th May regarding the Assembly’s vote to Sir John Wentworth. "Resolved that a Committee be appointed to wait upon His Majesty’s Council and humbly to inform their Honours that this House confesses its ignorance of the proper Mode of settling an Annuity upon Sir J Wentworth that the House thanks His Majesty’s Council for the Lesson sent yesterday – And that the House profiting thereby has immediately passed a Bill for the purpose and in the manner ordered by H Majesty, Council." The above was apparently expunged from the Journal, and the report of the committee substituted.
