Robertson, that he wold withdraw his candidature from the election contest if he were given satisfactory assurance that the dominion government would, during its next session, give a subsidy of $2200 per mile for the three foot gauge railway from Yarmouth to Lockeport.  Signed and attested by Robertson and witness.
