Piers note: No. 393. Portraits of Military Officers: Portrait Group of Officer and his family (same as in No. 392) and four gentlemen; believed to be Lt. General Sir William O'Grady Haly, G.O.C., in civilian costume, his aide in uniform, and four ladies, with four officers(?) in civilian costume; seated at the steps of a country house, Halifax. Haly(?) is in wicker chair to right.
