Guns (neither enclosed in shed) with iron Shields; "No. 9 Expense Shell Store and Shell Serving Room" between them; steps to left, up to battery; and magazine door to extreme right. 9 artillerymen seen. Length of casemate, about 80 feet, height 17½ feet. Looking South-southwest from inside.
