The Chairmaker and The Boys

Note: This film weaves a story around Ernest HART, a beloved and respected craftsman of the Margaree Valley of Cape Breton Island, who for over fifty years has served his farming neighbours as carpenter, blacksmith and general handyman. He is shown at work on one of his much prized chairs which are made to last a lifetime. While he makes chairs, his young grandson makes mischief, and Grandpa Hart is forced into yet another role.
