Note: This amateur film chronicles a day's yacht racing at Chester, Nova Scotia. The film includes footage of a pre-race meeting at the yacht club, a ceremony in which dignitaries aboard the BLUENOSE II inspect the racing yachts, and officiating activity onshore. There is excellent footage of the race itself, taken from an open boat amidst the racing yachts. The film concludes with footage of an awards ceremony at the end of the day, with a crowd watching and a naval band playing on the yacht club lawn. Still shot of one of the awards presented.
