Personally appeared before us the [subscribed]
two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
County of Sydney Dominick [Philypar]
of Pomquet who [deposed] that he is well
acquainted with all the improvements made
by the Indians these thirty years, at Pomquet, that
about twenty years ago they made a small improvement
on the lot adjoining to the [Ferry] Lot, now [McWhinnies]
which they didn't long occupy, being warned off by
[Talbot] the [Ferry] man; [Not] for about twenty years
the Indians have resided for the greater part of the time
on what is called the Indian Point, where they have
made large improvements and which [point] is now
claimed by Mr. Cogswell - Dominique [J] [illegible]
