Synopsis – footage of a forest fire and the smouldering ruins of the town of Londonderry.

although the National Archives of Canada dates the production 1924, there is evidence to suggest that the footage is actually of the 'great fire', which levelled 54 buildings in Londonderry on May 30, 1920.
