Synopsis – a national drama festival held annually in various cities across Canada. Regional competitions selected those groups which went to the final competition. Cash prizes, scholarships and trophies were awarded in writing, performance, direction and design categories. Performances were broadcast on CBC TV and Radio. The 1958 festival was held in Halifax. Nova Scotia.
