Synopsis – a sister program to the series Country Calendar, Countrytime was developed in order that more time could be spent informing the general audience about agriculture. It was regionally produced in Halifax, Toronto, Winnipeg, and Vancouver, and dealt with the latest farm developments, natural resource management, produce marketing and rural social issues. Frequently the show travelled to rural areas in the Maritimes. Tips on gardening were also provided by Gordon Warren.
