Synopsis – this series began in 1957 as a fifteen minute programme of classical music duets called Souvenir. In 1959 it expanded to thirty minutes, and featured a full orchestra playing familiar classics, show tunes and popular standards under the direction of conductor Gordon McPherson. The show was hosted by Pat Napier and featured Jean Marshall (singer), Francis Chapin (violinist), Phyllis Fisher (harpist), and Ed McCurdy (folksinger).
