Eve Maxwell-Lyte delighted her audience with folk songs from the British Isles, United States, various other counties, and Newfoundland and Nova Scotia the evening of 16 March 1939. Her recital, featuring ‘Traditional Songs of All Nations’, was sponsored by the Halifax Ladies Musical Club in the Nova Scotian Hotel. Nina Bartley Finn recorded the singer.
