Detail of the monument dedicated to the 14 founding men — NB fleur-de-lys. The first chapel was built at the end of "Plantin" in 1800. It was here that the first church dedicated to St. Apollinaire was built in 1812. Across from it was the first cemetery where the 14 elders: Peter O'Quin, Anselme O'Quin, Pierre Bois, Greg Maliette, Lazard White, Joseph Desveaux, Jos.
