Nova Scotia Archives's fire insurance plans are useful when researching buildings located in a town or city.
Charles E. Goad's fire insurance plan of Lunenburg show the size, shape and construction materials used in buildings, and identifies street addresses which are extremely useful because street numbers occasionally changed in various communities.
