Hydrostone Shopping District on Young Street at the Corner of North Creighton (now Isleville) Street

Tudor Revival buildings, often considered a sub class of Gothic Revival, 1915-1940, include the following characteristics:

- wood and stucco, brick and stucco, concrete block and stucco construction with half decorative or pseudo half-timbering,
- steeply pitched roofs, with or without dormers, chimneys prominently placed with decorative chimney pots,
- off-centered doorways with asymmetrical facade, and inset entryways.
