George Spicer to Levi Atkins; 13 November 1904, Hoboken, 2 pages. The Charles S. Whitney, another Spicer-owned vessel, was to be traded for three gypsum vessels, the King, Queen and Calabria, so George is gathering up all of his and Levi's personal belongings: "I have all your things packed up … one of the Cork hats I could not get in the box, then the Happy thought came to me that a Man raising potatoes and vegetables in NS did not require more than one Cork Hat …"
