Alexander Murison, Halifax, merchant states his ship the 'Nancy' was wrecked near Antigonish Harbour on the way to Richebucto, NB. The local J.P., Benjamin Ogden auctioned off the cargo but refuses to turn over the proceeds.

Rev. Charles Elliott reports that William Fisher, militia artillery, was injured when a cannon ran over his leg. His wife died and his children have gone to his wife's father, Thomas Tanner. Tanner also has the care of the grand children of two other daughters. Asks aid for Tanner.
