Petition of Hugh MacKenzie, Sydney, asking that he be awarded part of Patrick Lonergan's property in Lieu of the money owed by Lonergan for a horse. MacKenzie had been awarded $75.05 by the court.

Petition from Wilkinson J.C. Ritchie, Annapolis, asking that his name be cleared and the Judge Andrew Henderson be investigated. Also statement from Henderson detailing how Ritchie refused to answer questions. Another petition from Ritchie claiming he is an insolvent debtor.

Petition, Timothy Shanahan, Halifax, laborer, asking for the release of his wife Sarah, given nine months for theft. States that his wife is subject to fits of insanity. If wife released will leave the province (granted).

Petition, Stephen Fulton and R.B. Huestis, Clerks of the Peace, Cumberland, stating that a law was drawn up providing that excess funds would go toward the erection of a provincial asylum for inebriates.
