Letter from William Sabatier, Chairman of the Halifax Committee of Trade and Agriculture to the members of the House. He states the necessity that existed last year for some authentic account of the exports and imports of the province, and asks them to introduce the subject to the House "that the House should, before they rise, request of the Governor to direct the different Collectors of the Customs to furnish the House with such returns annually." (See resolution of 7 August, carrying this into effect.)
