Report of committee appointed to wait upon the Lt.-Governor re the Royal Instructions; the Governor "informed the committee that His Majesty’s Commission of His Governor General was lodged in the Office of the Secretary of the Province and that any Gentlemen belonging to the House who wished to examine it, might do so by calling at that office, which information was communicated to the House by the Committee at the time the written Answer was delivered Although it does not appear upon the Journals."
