Piers note: Horses, Sleighs and Carriages: Horse, dark-coloured, and Single-seated Sleigh or Cutter with dickey-seat behind for groom, with Royal Engineer Officer (Captain or Major) in winter uniform, and Groom in winter livery with fur cape, in dickey-seat; also fox terrier and spaniel; on road with spruce trees, doubtless in Point Pleasant Park; between 1870 and 1880. Harness with bell on saddle.
