Piers note: No. 44. Naval Magazines, to North of Naval Hospital and on eastern side Campbell Road: The Two Magazines, "A" to right, built 1813-14; "B" to left; and Cooperage to extreme right;1870. Looking North, from above Guard Room, towards the old Tannery (site of Oland's Army and Navy Brewery) on Dartmouth Shore (a group of buildings). To right of Tannery is Ropewalk Wharf.
