The Prat Sisters: Free Spirits of the 1890s
Untitled poem by Charles G.D. Roberts, written at 'Acadia Villa' after the death there of his brother Goodridge in February 1892
Goodridge Bliss Roberts, a divinity student at King's College, Windsor, had been engaged to be married to Minnie Prat. He died of influenza on February 4, 1892, at the age of 22, with his brother, Charles G.D., and fiancé, Minnie, at his bedside.
