'The Way We Were': Nova Scotia in Film, 1917-1950

A variety of footage including: man demonstrating a floatation suit on Halifax waterfront; English folk dance (May pole dance) demonstration on Studley field at Dalhousie; men in log rolling competition; diver; football on Studley field and people generally 'hamming it up' - including Laurel and Hardy imitations. Also includes a short film of a tableau/dance sequence entitled A Screen Scrapbook - Woodland Dance directed by Madame Hylda.
