As the first Curator of the Nova Scotia Museum, David Honeyman curated several important collections, including the fossil collection of Dr. W. Webster that included over 700 specimens. The graptolites in this slab was named in his honour. Some of these fossils were also displayed at the International Exhibitions (1865, 1867).
