Nova Scotia Museum Artifacts from International Exhibitions

A large ammonite, sectioned and polished, with label of Giants and Pigmies #14. David Honeyman published Giants and Pigmies in 1887, in order to promote interest in Nova Scotia geology. Specimens like this were used to compare Nova Scotia geology with other international sites.
