lors upon Extraordinary Emergencys make a Quorum when a Greater Number Cannot be Conveniently had (which was now his Case) that for his Ma^j t ys Service & the Good of the Province, he might therefore proceed thereby & Act Accordingly: Then His Honour the L.^t Gov.^rof the Province both took and Administred to the Other Members the Oaths Appointed to be taken by the Said Instructions [168] Instructions and Acts of Parliam.^t Subscribed the Same

Then He acquainted the Board that he had Appointed y^e Deputees of the french Inhabitants to meet him here this Day & y.^t he had a Mind to propose to them the taking of the Oaths to His Majesty King George; Which being Judged Very Necessary that they farther Should, or begone out of the Province; the Said Deputees who were Attending, were called in, & y^e Question put Accordingly

Orderd that the Aforesaid Commissions be Registred in the Council Book of Records and that Coppys be taken of the Instructions and keept upon file
