'A Vision of Regeneration'

The present St. Mark's Anglican Church was built to replace the original church near the corner of Albert and Russell streets, which was destroyed in the Explosion. The cornerstone of the new building was laid on July 16, 1920 and the first service was held on February 6, 1921.
