Original photograph copied through the courtesy of Edith Rowlings, church historian. The original Emmanuel Church, designed by W.C. Harris and opened in 1913, was destroyed in the 1917 Explosion. The present edifice was designed by R.A. Johnston and completed in 1920. The Rev. H.I. Leggo ministered here from November 1920 until November 1921.
