My Dear Friend,
          I meant to see you yesterday
afternoon, about the Marsh, but the
rain prevented me. — I have had no
chance to make any inquiry, or to
satisfy myself, of what I had better do;
but, I think upon the whole, that
if you can sell it to any one else,
you had better do so; for, my chil -
- dren being all of age, and seeming
to want their own ways, I am often
led to think that, it would be better
for me to give up out-doors busi -
- ness altogether. – It is so far from me
that I cannot see to it myself, and
I could receive but little benefit
from it, as to Fall feed. Nevertheless,
if I had the money by me, it is probable
I might take it; but, I have always
          been
