          I have laid before the Board your
Letter of the 16 February last signifying that
you did not think it prudent to leave Annapolis
at present there having been such an Alteration
in Publick affairs since your leave was
granted, and therefore desired your leave
might be continued till a more favourable
opportunity.
          I am Commanded to acquaint
you in return that you have the Boards
leave to come to England whenever the
Service will admit of your Absence.
