Tower of London 21 January 1743

Sir
I have recd yours date 21 July 1743 advising me that
you have drawn on me for £10 in favour of Wm Simpkins & £10
in favour of Henry Dering, & orders to pay Mrs Widdowes the Balance
in my hands. On the 14 Janry a Bill drawn by you on me date 30
June 1743 for £10 to Thomas Donnell or order, was presented to me
but of which I have received no advice, & in course you could not
expect me to Accept the same; however lest your Credit should
suffer I have accepted it, but if ever hereafter any Bill comes,
for which I have no advice, I shall refuse it.
Mrs. Widdowes tells me you have wrote to her to send you
several Goods, therfore I have paid her the Balance in my
hands at present, reserving sufficient to pay the Bills you
mention to have drawn in favour of Wm Simpkins & Henry
Dering £10 each, which are not yet come to Hand;
I have not yet Recd your December Quarter for want of the
Certificate, but when I do, I shall also pursuant to your order
pay the same to Mrs. Widdowes, and herewith I have sent you
an Account Current, which I desire you to Send me a Copy of
signed by yourself.
          I am Your humble Servant
          W Bogdani

Mr John Easson
