The MacGregor Miller Collection includes papers of the Miller and other Lunenburg County families including the Aiken family. Miss Eliz. Aitken's commonplace book includes household hints and about 60 recipes, 1809, and is part of the collection (MG 1 volume 652 no. 7, pages 16-48). Elizabeth Ann Aiken was born in Scotland circa 1790 but her father, the Rev. Roger Aiken, later became the rector of St. John's Anglican Church, Lunenburg. She died from bronchitis in Bridgewater on 28 February 1867. Jacob Miller was the informant to her death.
