Tom Connors: 'The Old Sport'

"One of the most popular mayors we ever had in Halifax. He was allway [sic] there when sports needed a helping hand. In his young days he was a Hockey and Baseball was his hobby [sic]. He made big improvements on the North End Commons in having grand stand and seats and the people of Halifax should get behind him and give him a boost."
