In Annual Report of the Department of Education for Nova Scotia, 1943, opposite p. 82
The Annual Report mentioned the school was constructed of tile and stucco. The eight-room school included a laboratory, manual arts and household science rooms, auditorium and library. It opened during the school year 1942-43. It seems fitting that the Halifax Regional Library now utilizes the west side of the original Sheet Harbour Consolidated School as a branch library.
