Matthew Maddock petitions for a grant of land on the road approximately halfway between River Inhabitants and Lennox Passage, Cape Breton Island. If Maddock is granted land, he plans to build a “decent frame House and a good Stable, and keep the same open as an Inn, for the accomodation [sic] of Travellers.”
