Ship W.D. Lawrence, 2458 tons, length 262 feet. The largest Canadian-built square-rigged ship. Photographed on the stocks just before launching, at the shipyard of the builder, Wm. D. Lawrence, Maitland, Hants County, NS. She was launched 27 October 1874.
