Extract of letter from Bathurst to Sherbrooke. Has laid before the Regent addresses of Assembly. End of war with United States has obviated necessity of dealing with problem of negro settlement. Prince has acquiesced in wishes of House re: opening coal mines of province. (Enclosed in No. 49)
