Approved report of committee of Council to whom Assembly's address to Lieutenant Governor on claims of settlers on Douglas and Philadelphia Grants was referred. Progress made towards settling titles. Committee hopes that provision will be made for paying for grants, which will probably cost only £2500 in addition to what has already been expended. Enclosed in No. 30.
